Case Study 2 – Furnace Charging System

This project was under taken in less than 6 weeks at the customers request, it is a perfect example of how we can complete a system, from order to final installation in  very short time scales.

Our team comes together from the  initial design, to program, then onto panel build and delivery and onsite installlation!

This control panel enables the flow of copper and brass ore into a furnace.

It consists of a Lift system, that raises the material up to high level vibrating conveyors which then transfers the ore to the top of the furnace.  As the ore is transferred, the weight is checked via a series of Dynamic scales.

This system communicates with the various control via Profinet.
